oh wow, i am very emotional
so
i have been reading the book loveless by alice oseman and i feel like i really relate to it a lot, which i kinda have been suspecting but didnt want to think about to much
but, my ex visited last week and told me he thought of me as his soulmate
and like i really love him a lot but the relationship got weird so we broke up
and so now i am at a point where i dont know what to do, cause we broke up for a reason and he definitely still loves me and i love him too but we broke up and i dont know if i can move on cause he is the only person i have even felt a little like this with and how can i give up someone i love and something i loved once to go on not loving anyone?
is this even funny i dont think its funny im not putting it in the tags
How has this comic made such a groundbreaking cultural impact without getting over 40k notes
One wild thing about Universal cutting up all those trees is I first heard about tree law like, maybe a month ago. One of my mutuals reblogged that one comic and my reaction was sort of mildly amused, but also a little confused as to why tree law seemed to be so popular of all things
It really feels like some great karmic entity leaned down and said hey here’s the set up to a joke that won’t get a punchline for a little while. But when it does you’re gonna love it
In case you were wondering what the trees looked like before, I did some Google Street view investigating:

2 Years ago, and the most “pruned” previous pic of them I’ve found them. . . You can, ofc, barely see the difference between this and the carnage of the first picture. . . See guys! It’s just a usual annual prune. ;3 [Intense Sarcasm]
Look. I have literally no horse in this race when it comes to the WGA/SAG Hollywood strike. I do not watch enough TV or movies to be affected and I’m not a part of the industry. I really haven’t cared.
As a lawyer and orchardist, however, I am now utterly entranced by the fact that some Universal Studios exec thought it was a good idea to cut down city-owned trees in the middle of summer.
There is no way to get around the absolute clusterfuck they have brought down upon themselves.
So Universal Pictures may have just intentionally over-pruned all of the city owned trees in front of their LA corporate office in an effort to fuck with the WGA/SAG-AFTRA picketers during what is predicted to be the hottest week of the year so far:
And the LA City Controller is looking into it:
Once again it looks like it's time for:
